Marissa used yoga as a fitness supplement growing up as a competition dancer. While in college she tapped into the true spiritual, mental, and emotional benefits of yoga and her journey began. Marissa completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training as a way to “deepen her practice”, but soon realized she was a natural teacher. Her background in sports medicine influences her teachings, where she strives to bring anatomical / body awareness while creating a space for the breath and mind to flow. She is inspired by her colleagues and clients, and values every opportunity to grow and learn from her community.
